Friends -- This pandemic has presented us with so many challenges, and more than ever, it's important that we have the strongest leaders guiding us. My friend, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, has been that leader.

Since she took office in 2016, she led East Baton Rouge Parish through recovery from the 2016 floods, helped heal the community, and now - been a strong, steady leader as we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
