Dear John,

Let’s vote. No excuses. Voting is our civic duty and responsibility.

Have you voted yet? If not, then please make sure that you do vote. And, please ask your family, friends and folks in your networks to vote.

Then ask yourself and others the following questions. You can also learn more about your state’s rules at www.vote.org ([link removed]) or at the League of Women Voters website here ([link removed]) .

Are you registered to vote? If not, please register if there’s still time to do so in your state. Check here ([link removed]) to find out.

Did you request an absentee ballot? If you’ve received an absentee ballot but haven’t yet mailed it or put it into an official election drop box, please do so right away.

Are you planning to vote in-person? If so, then please plan to vote early at the polling place, or early and safely on November 3^rd.

With the record number of mailed-in ballots, it could be days or many weeks before the full results are determined. We might need to be patient for all of the votes to be fairly counted. That’s OK. We want a fair election, not a fast one.

Counting all of the votes and verifying a Presidential winner could take longer than many Americans are used to with instant news and analysis. If that’s what fairness and justice require, we can be patient for democracy to work well. Let’s get it right.

Let’s vote ([link removed]) , and please ask your family, friends and neighbors to vote ([link removed]) .

Best wishes,

Howard Learner
