Dear John,
Here’s a case where your vote really does count . . .
What’s your choice for this year’s best conservative book?
Submit your nomination now for ISI’s Conservative Book of the Year award.
I’m asking you and other friends of ISI for your picks because the ISI community is made up of so many thoughtful people.
So which new title has caught your eye in 2020? Which one stands out from the crowd?
Make your nomination using this simple online form. But please don’t wait: the deadline is November 1—only about a week away.
The winning author will receive a $10,000 cash prize.
Recent winners of ISI’s Conservative Book of the Year award include Wilfred M. McClay for Land of Hope, Yoram Hazony for The Virtue of Nationalism, Rod Dreher for The Benedict Option, Bradley J. Birzer for Russell Kirk: American Conservative, and Daniel Hannan for Inventing Freedom. A distinguished panel of judges will select this year’s winner.
Please send in your ideas! Some great books have come out this year—and others will be released before the end of the year. I don’t want to overlook any worthy contenders.
So please make your nomination here.
Many thanks,
Jed Donahue
Intercollegiate Studies Institute
P.S. The November 1 deadline will be here before you know it, so please submit your nomination now.
