Friends — tonight is the final presidential debate before Election Day.
It’ll be the last chance for the American people to hear from the candidates before they cast their vote and we’ll be watching to see if the candidates take the opportunity to address gun violence directly.
Gun violence is one of the most pressing issues our nation faces. Nearly 700 people die from gun violence every week, and many of these deaths could be avoided if our country had safer gun laws.
We deserve a president who will stand up to the NRA, pass safer gun laws, and protect our communities from deadly violence. That’s why we’re supporting Joe Biden who we know will be a gun safety President.

In 2018, we elected a historic gun safety majority to the House with a mandate to pass safer gun laws. The House followed through, but Mitch McConnell has stood in the way.
Now we need to elect more senators who will help pass gun safety laws too, and a president who will sign them into law.
