Good morning, John. This is Maeve, Sara Gideon's communications director.
I’m reaching out because TONIGHT Sara has her second to last debate against Senator Collins. With a couple of these debates under our belt already, we know what to expect:
Senator Collins will struggle to defend her record of trying to gut the Affordable Care Act without a replacement plan. And she will refuse to answer direct questions about whether she is voting for Trump for president.
Meanwhile, Sara will talk about her plan to protect and expand access to affordable health care, and she will give direct and honest answers about the issues that matter most to Maine families.
John, I know Sara is ready for this debate, but I need you to step up and have her back, too.
You see, we are hoping to bring in a flood of small-dollar donations before tonight’s debate.
