,

This week’s installment <[link removed]> of our podcast Sounds Like Hate <[link removed]> takes you even further behind the scenes of the Base, a white nationalist group preparing for – and trying to instigate – the collapse of civilization as we know it.

This is Part II of the three-part episode “Baseless,” which is centered around hours of exclusive, explosive audio that was secretly recorded by men applying for membership in the Base. These never-before-heard recordings capture what extremist groups are saying in private when they hope no one is listening – and the results are shocking.

“We’re hoping the system is going to destroy itself,” says one unnamed extremist early in “Baseless: Part II.” “And we’ll use that as an opportunity to take advantage of any power vacuum that might emerge, even if it’s on a local level.”

That’s the Base’s goal: to push society to the point of collapse so that a new white ethnostate can rise from the ruins. Members of the group are committed to doing anything they can to hasten our society’s downfall, whether that means sowing seeds of ideological hatred or committing acts of violence and destruction themselves.

“Baseless: Part II” focuses specifically on the Base’s efforts to develop paramilitary training drills, in preparation for the chaos they hope is coming soon. We use artificial intelligence to analyze 83 hours of secret recordings of members, uncovering patterns of deception found in the group’s private rhetoric. And we reveal that their underground network of terroristic schemes is now international in scope.

The content of “Baseless” and other episodes of Sounds Like Hate may be shocking and upsetting, but we are so grateful to you, our supporters and listeners, for taking the time to engage seriously with the truth about extremism in our society. Thank you.

In solidarity,
