*UPDATE: Governor Parson's Schedule for October 22 - 23, 2020*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* Due to weather conditions, Governor Parson's scheduled tour of Kawasaki Motors in Maryville has been postponed until *tomorrow*, *October 23 at 9:00 a.m.* The remainder of Governor Parson's schedule for today is unchanged.

Additionally, on *Friday*, *October 23*, Governor Parson will travel to Springfield to _*hold a meeting and press conference* _with CoxHealth representatives regarding the new saliva-based COVID-19 test.

In August, the Food and Drug Administration approved the saliva-based COVID-19 test that was developed by Washington University researchers here in Missouri. CoxHealth will be one of several health care systems in Missouri to administer the test and the first in the Southwest Region.

Governor Parson will be joined by CoxHealth representatives for the press conference following the meeting.
