Mavericks,

In less than two weeks, voters will head to the polls for a historic election. Mavericks across the nation are playing key roles by running for office, advising campaigns and bundling money. Regardless of the outcome of November 3rd, there will be a serious discussion about the future of the GOP and MavPAC is poised to play a thoughtful role in that discussion. We're a small organization but our members play a monumental role in the political and business communities due to their success and leadership abilities. It was only a few election cycles ago that MavPAC focused primarily on raising money for candidates. Due to our growing network, we are now able to directly contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to campaigns, as well as help raise and bundle funds.

Now more than ever, I urge you to get more involved by referring a friend who would be a good fit for our community or suggesting a potential speaker for a webinar. Thank you for all you do for MavPAC and this great nation. Feel free to always e-mail me with your thoughts, ideas and comments (

I’m the Director of Operations and PR for Valls Group, a family run business that owns and operates restaurants in Miami. I’ve been involved with Maverick PAC for 8 years and I’m a 2015 Future 40 winner.

Favorite thing about MavPAC?
Favorite thing about MavPAC is the people, the MavPAC family! Its so great to meet individuals, locally and nationally, who are my age and who have the same ideals as me. I’ve become friends with so many people through this organization. Also, the elected officials and business leaders you get to connect with, and hear their stories is truly amazing. The Miami chapter has been around for a long time so it’s always challenging to keep people interested and involved but I think what keeps the chapter going is the events. In Miami, there are always events and parties happening, so you have to make the events fun! I always like to do happy hour events or lunch talks.

Favorite MavPAC Memory?
Favorite MavPAC moment wasn’t so much a moment but a weekend. Our annual conferences are always a good time but our conference in Las Vegas was extra fun! We had a strong Miami presence, I got to catch up with members I hadn’t seen since the last conference and we ended one night dancing the night away with Calvin Harris…you never know what could happen at Conference.
