John,
It's official: Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation to the United States Supreme Court will advance for a vote in the U.S. Senate. It's predicted that a person who took donations from hate groups that support the recriminalization of homosexuality in the United States, who stated that “marriage and family [is] founded on the indissoluble commitment of a man and a woman,” who believes that Obergefell v. Hodges should be overturned and who argued against marriage equality will sit on the highest court in America.
Her nomination is a disaster for LGBTQ equality and it cannot be repeated. We MUST ensure that our LGBTQ U.S. Senators have the support they need to block appointments like Amy’s in the future – for the Supreme Court and all federal courts.
That's why Victory Institute is training hundreds of openly LGBTQ candidates who can be our next LGBTQ U.S. Senator. And our Presidential Appointments Initiative is working to ensure the next administration appoints the first openly LGBTQ Supreme Court Justice. Donate to support our work and stop this from happening again! [[link removed]]

Subject: Questioning Amy Coney Barrett
Anti-equality forces are attempting to shove Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation across the finish line, even though some U.S. Senators have tested positive for COVID-19 and the American people are against her nomination process. And even more offensive: neither of our LGBTQ U.S. Senators are able to question Barrett about her horrendous anti-LGBTQ record!
We would love to see U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin or U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema question Barrett about her efforts to stop marriage equality, her financial ties to anti-LGBTQ hate groups and her transphobic attacks on Title IX. We need more LGBTQ voices in power and we need to send our U.S. Senators backup. Donate today to boost our work to train more LGBTQ leaders to run for public office! [[link removed]]

Look, we know the Barretts of the world aren’t going to disappear overnight. But to combat their toxic views, we must ensure that our LGBTQ leaders have the training to win campaigns and have our support when they’re working to hold bigots like Barrett accountable. Until LGBTQ people have a seat at every table in government, our rights are not safe. Chip in today to power our work! [[link removed]]
