Hi John,
The Maine Climate Council is set to release their landmark Climate Action Plan on December 1, and we want to make sure you hear all the breaking news!
The Climate Council held two public meetings in October to debate the contents of the plan, and Maine's climate community is here to recap those meetings and discuss how the Climate Action Plan is shaping up. What policies are likely to be in the final Plan? How will both the environment and Maine people benefit? We'll talk through these questions and answer yours, live via Zoom.
Join us Thursday, October 29 from 12 - 1 PM for a virtual event - Maine’s Climate Action Plan: Breaking News and Analysis. Click here to register! >> [[link removed]]
Nick Lund, from Maine Audubon, will host an expert panel including:
* Ania Wright, Sierra Club Maine / Maine Youth for Climate Justice
* Kathleen Meil, Maine Conservation Voters
* David Costello, Natural Resources Council of Maine
We' re thrilled to see Maine taking action on climate change and are excited to share the latest news and analysis with you.
I hope you can join us,
Abbie
