Friend – the Judiciary Committee hearings have officially ended, and the committee is set to vote on Judge Amy Coney Barrett's nomination a little later today.
The integrity of the Supreme Court is existentially threatened by Judge Barrett's nomination. As is our democracy. As are countless civil rights. So I'll continue speaking out against the sham nomination of Judge Barrett with every fiber of my being, and I'm counting on you to stand with me today:

With every question she dodged and calculated non-answer she gave, Judge Barrett's silence spoke volumes. I asked her if she acknowledges that climate change is real. She wouldn't answer. I asked her if she agrees with the Supreme Court decision that established marriage equality. She wouldn't answer.
But when it comes to reproductive freedom, Judge Barrett already made her stance abundantly clear by supporting groups that have called Roe v. Wade's legacy "barbaric." She flat-out said that she disagrees with the Supreme Court's second decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act. And her record makes it clear that she could very well block commonsense gun reform that would save lives.
The stakes of this fight are too high for any of us to be silent. I know it's easy to feel like Mitch McConnell has won this one already. But he hasn't. We've got to keep speaking out – loud and relentlessly – until the very end. So please, will you add your voice alongside mine now?

Thanks so much. And please always remember that your voice matters. Keep raising it. Keep fighting. I'll do the same.
