John—
This afternoon, the Senate Judiciary Committee will vote to move forward Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
With millions of Americans already casting their ballots for reproductive freedom champions, we have to make it clear: This is the people’s seat, and it should not be filled through a rushed power grab aimed at controlling our bodies and advancing an extreme agenda wildly out of touch with the will of the people.
Our voices are stronger together, John. So please, if you feel comfortable doing so, join us at the Supreme Court at 11AM this morning and make it clear: There should be no consideration of a new Supreme Court justice before inauguration. Of course, your safety comes first — if you choose to join us in person, make sure you wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and follow all local safety guidelines.
Senate Republicans are desperate to rush through this confirmation — and they’re hoping no one will notice.
But we’re paying attention — and now is the time to show just that.
Join activists, senators, and fellow reproductive freedom voters this morning to put Senate Republicans on notice and show exactly what is at stake if Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed to the Supreme Court.
We hope to see you (and your mask!) there.
