You read that correctly — Cassidy wanted to shut down HBCUs and see Black Americans locked up to save money in a state that’s home to six HBCUs — and over 1.5 million Black Americans.

This is disgusting. Senator Bill Cassidy is the last guy we need representing the Black community right now. He’s had his chance to turn Louisiana around, but he would rather divide than unite us.
