We are making our last submission for public financing tonight. We are trying to raise another $1000 – another twenty people donating the maximum $50 – by the end of the day, as this is our last day to accept donations eligible for the 6x public match before the election.

The incumbent mayor is taking donations from corporate PACs and developers – powerful interests opposed to our grassroots vision for Berkeley. Publications funded by millions in tech money (i.e. the exact companies that we are planning to tax) have now published multiple articles with false negative attacks against our campaign.

We need your help to fight back, especially if you are a Berkeley resident. Every Berkeley resident generates a 6x match, and today is the last day for us to submit requests for the match that we’ll receive before Election Day.
