The latest polls put justice champion George Gascón in the lead against Lacey.
But the news is out and our opponents aren’t taking it lightly. Police unions and anti-reform groups have put over $5 million in donations to defend Jackie Lacey and the unjust system she upholds.
We need your help, John, to fight back. This is regarded as the MOST important District Attorney race this year because of the rare chance to transform one of the most incarcerated systems in our country.

Los Angeles has the nation’s largest jail system — and under Jackie’s policies, the cycle of police brutality and racial violence has reached a breaking point. During DA Lacey’s 8 years in her position, she has sentenced 23 people to death row, 22 of whom were people of color. That’s more than Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia combined during the same timeframe.
George Gascón is the leader we need to help our country shift from the burden of the mass incarceration system towards a system that values intervention and rehabilitation.
If we want to see this necessary change in our communities, we need to step up and show out for the right candidates.
