Did you see my last email? Our work has never been more urgent. Can we count on your support?
Dear John,
I hope you caught my email last week. In these last days before November 3, we’re ramping up our work to make voting free, fair, and accessible — by mail, early, and in-person. Will you support us in these final days before the election as we work to protect our democracy?

Dear John,

The past few months have seen unprecedented, relentless attempts to undermine faith in the legitimacy of the election. The Brennan Center’s work to counter these attacks has never been more critical. With just days left until November 3, will you join our fight to protect and defend democracy?

As the attacks on our democracy have grown more urgent, we’ve been fighting on the frontlines:
  • After attacks on the right to vote by mail in Harris County, Texas by the governor and attorney general, we fought back in court — and also provided critical educational materials so that voters in the most diverse county in Texas know what they need to do to cast their ballot.
  • When Trump and the Republican National Committee sued Pennsylvania election officials in an attempt to bar the state from allowing voters to cast their mail ballots in official drop boxes, we intervened — and won. Now, voters in Pennsylvania have options for voting safely, without compromising their health.
  • We’re providing expert guidance for election officials across the country to ensure they have a game plan to manage potential machine malfunctions or cyberattacks.
  • We intervened when a group fighting to restrict voter access sued Michigan election officials and claimed that voter registration in some counties was “too high” — and prevented aggressive and unnecessary voter purges in 16 counties.
  • We’re reaching hundreds of thousands with our voter education campaigns in battleground states like Pennsylvania, where a harsh court ruling could result in thousands of ballots being tossed.
  • And we’re keeping up our fight in the court of public opinion to make sure the American public knows that voter fraud is practically nonexistent, voting by mail is safe, and we can avoid an election meltdown.
I Want to Protect the Election

Our democracy is stronger than lies.

With only a few weeks left, we’ll likely see last-minute changes in communities across the country, set by bad actors intending to cause confusion and deter voters. But the Brennan Center will keep up our work to help every eligible American vote — whether it’s by mail, early, or in-person.

Sincerely,
