John,
We’re thankful for our brave service members each day.
But their service and sacrifice are especially important to remember this time of year.
On Sept. 11, we reflect on what our country lost, those who responded to the attacks and those who were inspired to serve in the military to protect our nation.
On Nov. 11, we’ll celebrate Veterans Day, thanking those in each generation willing to keep this country safe.
Today, Concerned Veterans for America launches a campaign to Honor Their Sacrifice. Our mission is to ensure lawmakers are honoring veterans and active-duty military in the policy decisions they make.
Over the next two months, we’re calling on YOU to help us Honor Their Sacrifice by asking our lawmakers to:
1. Bring our troops home from Afghanistan
2. Put an end to reckless spending in Washington, D.C.
3. Continue to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs to best serve our veterans
We have a responsibility to continue defending freedom and looking after our brothers and sisters in uniform.
