Friend --

Control of the Illinois Supreme Court is at stake this election.

If you live in the bottom third of the state, I urge you to vote for David Overstreet for the Illinois Supreme Court.? Justice Overstreet is currently the victim of a vicious smear by his Democratic opponent.?

Yesterday I participated in two press conferences on this subject.? You can watch one of them here <[link removed]> for more information.

The other race that will determine control of the Illinois Supreme Court is the retention vote on Justice Tom Kilbride. Backed by Speaker Madigan, Justice Kilbride was elected to the Illinois Supreme Court from a court district that is increasingly conservative.

Three weeks ago, Kilbride said he would not "accept one penny" from Speaker Madigan or entities Madigan controls.??

Apparently, that statement had an expiration date.

Yesterday, Justice Kilbride's committee accepted $550,000 from the Democratic Party of Illinois (which is controlled by Mike Madigan).

You can read the full story and his pledge not to take Madigan money here <[link removed]>.

If you were undecided on Kilbride, you shouldn't be anymore.

If you have the opportunity, vote NO on the Justice Kilbride retention.

Thanks for reading and S/F,

Paul?
