It?s not too late to join us on Saturday mornings to
create memories with Jazz at Lincoln Center Live from
New York, in a series of seven Zoom classes for children
and their caregivers from Oct 24 ? Dec 12, 2020. You are
your child?s first teacher, and your child learns by
playfully imitating what you do. When your child sees
you having fun swinging, bopping, and scatting, they
will try it too!
The Jazz Basics course
incorporates live and recorded music with ritual songs,
educational activities, and storytelling. Classes are
led by WeBop teacher Ms. Sofia. The 45 minute classes
encourage families to learn about jazz, and express
themselves through movement, singing, clapping, and
playing small percussion instruments you can easily make
at home.
Tuition is $113 for the first child and
an additional $20 for another child in the household. A
caretaker must participate with the child. Very limited
capacity. |
