Parents, discover new ways to bring Judaism into your family’s life. Join others as you discuss issues significant to you at a time when there are more questions than answers.
Hour 1: Moral of the Story with Rabbi Faudem
How do we teach our children right and wrong? What morals and values do we want to pass on to them? Are there lessons to be learned from some of our most popular heroes and heroines? Using Biblical stories, we will see how we can use them as lessons for our family to live by.
Hour 2: Conversations to Contemplate
Join us as every six weeks we welcome a different popular community educator.
Cantor Michael Smolash:
Enter the intriguing world of Kabbalah and Mysticism.
Nina Yahalomi Klevitsky:
Delve into everyday life in Israel, including its culture, food and politics, along with a discussion of BDS on campus.
Rebecca Starr and Rabbi Aaron Starr:
A lively and informative discussion about Judaism’s traditional and contemporary take on matters of the heart.
Rabbi Brent Gutmann:
Using the 2018 Census study, look at our Jewish future in Detroit and what it means to you and your family.
