If you’ve been following our organization for a while, you already know that people of color are disproportionally impacted by gun violence.

This is no accident -- it is by design. 

Gun violence is a function of the larger system of oppression in the United States. And while people of color are closest to the pain, they also hold life-saving solutions that are just not being heard.

That’s why we’re proud to be a partner of By Design -- a brand new campaign to shift the narrative about gun violence. Click here to watch the launch. 

By Design centers the work, lives, stories and expertise of people of color. Through The 2020 Election, we will use public education, content and engage pop culture and mass media to build an understanding of the root causes of gun violence, how it impacts Black and Brown communities and uplift the expertise in these communities to save lives.
