Gaetz has cozied up to Trump, and now he sees Trump's tactics failing -- he's probably panicking and doesn't know what to say. He can't get up on a debate stage and spread crazy conspiracy theories because we've proven to voters that he can't be trusted. He can't talk about his policy initiatives either because he doesn't have any. So instead, he's refusing to debate.
