ABC News: “Donald Trump falsely claimed three times on Thursday that a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study found the vast majority of people who wear a mask contract COVID-19.”
This isn’t true -- and Trump is endangering American lives by spreading such misinformation. Dr. Anthony Fauci, our top infectious disease expert, has repeatedly corrected Trump on the subject in an attempt to protect the American public.
In response, Trump’s been disparaging Dr. Fauci and other public health officials at every opportunity, claiming that “people are tired of Covid” and “tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots.”
