Hey John,

Today's the day: J.D. is finally going to debate Randy Feenstra. Can you chip in $5 or $10 to show your support as he takes the stage? Randy clearly thinks debates are beneath him. It took him a month to respond to a debate invitation from WHO and KCAU, which was initially supposed to be on October 2nd -- but here we are on October 21st for our first and only debate... two weeks after voting started.

J.D. isn't afraid of debates. He's not afraid of voters. Why? Because he's been to each and every town in Iowa's 4th district, he's met thousands of people and heard their stories of pain and triumph, and he knows exactly what Iowans need from their congressman. Feenstra has spent that time calling up wealthy donors and corporate PACs for help, because he thinks the big “R” next to his name is enough to coast through to Election Day.

J.D. can win this debate and this election because he actually listens to our neighbors, regardless of their party affiliation. He's determined to take action on the issues facing farmers, families, and working people. That's because he drove Sioux City Sue 7,786 miles on the Every Town Tour to look people in the eyes, earn their trust, and prove that he'll be a fighter for the 4th district in Washington.

So really, what we're saying is, J.D. is going to knock this debate out of the park. But winning this election won't be as easy, J.D. still needs the help of grassroots supporters to make the most of these final days. Can you help by chipping in $5 before J.D. goes on stage today?
