Dear John,

No matter what happens on election day, we will still be staring down a new Great Depression. We will still find ourselves in a rigged political environment, where corporate lobbyists get more say than the rest of us. In short, we will still desperately need a people’s government. 

We’re not going anywhere!

🗣 In fact, we’ve now heard from more than 600 of you -- at picnics and Zoom calls and in one-on-one conversations -- who are ready to play a leadership role in WV Can’t Wait’s future. Candidates are putting their hats in the ring for 2021 and 2022 races. Organizers in 13 states have also asked to work with us beyond 2020.

So, what happens after November 3rd? 

👀 First, keep an eye out for a “What Now!?” Meet up in your neck of the woods in mid-November. This will be a time to share your strategy ideas in the lead up to the WV Can’t Wait Delegates Convention. (Tentative dates and locations include Martinsburg 11/7, Morgantown 11/8, Huntington 11/14, Hinton 11/15.)

Second, if you can’t make a “What Now!??” Meet up, be sure to talk with a WV Can’t Wait Organizer instead so we can get your ideas on the table. You can find one here on Facebook.

Third, make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor using this link (Or send a check to WV Can’t Wait Action Committee, PO Box 1633, Huntington WV 25717--and indicate “post-November” in the memo line). Everything we raise will be used to keep the movement going as we back our first elected in office!
