John, I'm so proud of how far this campaign has come.

We began this race as an underdog. In the primary, we had little attention as most analysts considered VA-05 to be "Likely Republican". Now, 13 days out from Election Day, here's where we stand:

-After gaining steadily throughout the summer, we are now slightly ahead of Bob Good in the five latest polls
-The consensus among forecasters now is that VA-05 is a Toss-Up
-FiveThirtyEight currently predicts that the district will come down to just 0.4%

Because of supporters like you, we're fully in to win it! My opponent and his allies know it, and that's why they're desperately investing hundreds of thousands of dollars on divisive, false attacks to distract voters from the issues. If we stand together, we can make sure that folks are getting a real choice based on truth and substance.
