Did you see the news?

The New York Times reported that Republican political operatives paid a faux-local news website (yes, seriously!) to have a freelancer write a negative news story about Sara Gideon. It was essentially a Team Collins press release passed off as a local news story.  

Then Republicans cited these fake “news stories” in ads!

These are the kind of tactics that we’re up against... Republicans are willing to lie -- and pay others to lie -- in order to help Susan Collins win. They need to keep this seat if Mitch McConnell wants to maintain the Senate majority.

So I have to ask:

Will you pitch in to help us defeat Collins and elect Dems up and down the ticket? With your help, we can fight back against these fake stories -- by actually talking to voters! You can chip in here:

Organizers and volunteers are talking to voters across the state about the issues that matter to them most, like how Sara Gideon, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot are the best way to make progress in 2021.
