It’s clear that Missouri’s 8th District has been forgotten: shuttered rural hospitals, skyrocketing prescription drug prices, and disappearing jobs. What’s not clear is what Rep. Jason Smith is doing to improve his constituents’ lives. Instead, he’s acting as a rubber stamp for Donald Trump. 

Jason Smith currently falls in line with Trump on 97.6% of votes— including his votes against funding Coronavirus relief through the CARES Act, against providing additional funding to save the U.S. Postal Service, against combating police brutality, and against expanding health insurance access.
