Friends,
The Center for American Progress has reported that a Trump administration policy “could undo the economic and educational gains that DACA recipients have made.”
According to CAP, limiting DACA recipients “to only one year of deferred action and work authorization and protection from deportation” is grossly insufficient -- and we wholeheartedly agree.
It’s clear that after failing to repeal DACA outright, Trump and his allies are doing their best to wind down the program behind the scenes. This latest DHS policy is proof enough.
Trump’s administration knows the American public stands with DREAMers, but they’re counting on us being too distracted by the election to oppose their scheme. If you refuse to let this failed president punish undocumented Americans as his last act in office, please, stand with us now and answer:
Should we protect DREAMers from deportation?
