"Alaska losing $102M in military construction for border wall"
- Alaska Public Radio
John --

Dan Sullivan could have protected Alaska from this harmful decision.

He could have done what Alaskan leaders have done in the past -- whether Republican, Independent, or Democrat -- and put partisan politics aside. He could have stood up to Donald Trump when we needed him to put Alaska first.

But he didn't.

Sullivan is in too deep with Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and their allies to be able to fight for the rest of us.

I'll be a U.S. Senator who always stands up for Alaska and its people -- no matter the political consequence. I don't owe the special interests anything because I'm not taking corporate PAC donations.

Look, I'm counting on people like you to help me build a people-powered campaign that can defeat Dan Sullivan. Chip in $5 or more right now if you can -- your support is crucial in helping me overcome all the huge contributions that Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump's allies will send Sullivan's way.

And it's not just military funding that Trump is diverting -- he's also swiping $155 million from FEMA's Disaster Relief Fund. We don't have to worry about hurricanes in Alaska, but we do have earthquakes that could strike at anytime, as well as other natural disasters.

A secure border is important, but Donald Trump's fixation on building a border wall that he lied about Mexico paying for isn't the answer, and Dan Sullivan knows it. Now, Alaskans, working people, our military personnel, and Americans recovering from natural disasters are paying the price.

It's time for new leadership in Washington that puts people -- and Alaska -- first. Chip in $5 or more now, and help me build a grassroots, people-powered campaign that can win this election.
