I'll be honest, Jack, I wasn't expecting to email you about Maine's Senate race again.

After being up in the polls for several months, Sara Gideon’s lead over her opponent has evaporated. This race is a statistical dead-heat. A new poll shows Sara up by just one point—well within the margin of error.

This is NOT good. We can’t afford to lose Maine’s Senate race. If we do, we have NO SHOT at taking back the Senate. Mitch McConnell and his allies know that too—they’re running millions worth of negative ads in the state to try to hang onto the seat.

And the polls show it’s working. We have to make sure Sara has the resources to fight back. Please, can you rush a donation of $25, $50, whatever you can afford, to elect Sara Gideon in Maine and take back the Senate? We’ve set a goal of raising Sara an additional $25,000 by midnight.

This race is far from over—we cannot get complacent.
