Get ready for 2020: Presidential Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidates!
Everytown for Gun Safety

John – I'm excited to announce the inaugural list of 2020 Presidential Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidates ahead of tonight's Democratic debate in Houston.

In 2018, more than 1,000 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidates won local, state, and federal elections. Together, we elected a Gun Sense Majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and helped take back state houses across the country. An important part of our 2018 victories was our ability to let voters know which candidates on their ballot stood up and demonstrated that they would govern with gun safety in mind, if elected.

And we're not waiting until 2020 to announce our list of Gun Sense Candidates in the presidential race. Check out our 2020 presidential Gun Sense Candidates now!

These candidates have proven their commitment to lifesaving gun laws after answering questions about their gun safety positions and engaging in a conversation on gun violence prevention with Moms Demand Action members. The distinction is not an endorsement, but instead a means for candidates to let voters know that they will fight for stronger, common-sense gun safety laws if elected.

And, this is just one part of our work to prepare for the 2020 elections. Stay tuned for more Gun Sense Candidate announcements in local, state and Congressional races throughout the election cycle. I know that with your continued support, we will defend our Gun Sense Majority in the U.S. House, elect a Gun Sense president and U.S. Senate - and make even more progress in local and state elections in 2020.

For now, check out our 2020 presidential Gun Sense Candidates!

Thanks for being with us,
