INDIANAPOLIS - (Oct. 21, 2020) ??Whether you are a wine connoisseur or a novice, prefer sweet or dry, Indiana has more than 100 award-winning wineries to satisfy your taste buds. Visit Indiana's next #The20IN20 list features the must-visit wineries around the state.

"Indiana is among the top 20 wine-producing states," said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch. ?The wine industry now contributes more than $2.4 billion to the state's economy."

Wine Business Monthly ranked?Oliver Winery?in Bloomington the 44 largest in the country because of its wine production. Oliver is the oldest existing Indiana winery, which began in a hut in 1972. It now includes a 54-acre vineyard, full-processing facility and an elegant tasting room with a large outdoor patio surrounded by lush landscaping.

Nearly half a million people visit Huber's Orchard, Winery, & Vineyards in Borden each year. Simon Huber immigrated to southern Indiana from Germany in 1843. He bought 80 acres. Today, more than 18 varieties of grapes are grown on the land. The seventh-generation farm spans 650 acres and serves as a working farm, an orchard, a winery, a distillery and more.

Nestled on a hillside in Huntington County, Two-EE's Winery was established in 2013 by Eric and Emily Harris, hence the Two-EE's. Eric is the head winemaker and within the first 18 months of opening, he was recognized twice as a rising star of his trade. In 2016, voters named?Two-EE's Winery?in Roanoke the Best Winery Experience in Indiana.

"Amazing wines are being made in this state from dry to sweet, and even fruit wines," said Misty Weisensteiner, Director of Visit Indiana. "Even if you are not a wine aficionado, there are choices for every palate."
