friend, Earlier this month, IJF launched our first-ever voter outreach program, the IJF Vote Team. Our volunteers have already contacted more than 89,000 voters in crucial battleground states. But we must heed the lessons of 2016 and do everything it takes to make Trump a one-term President and elect Biden-Harris. The “predictions” are just that — and do not have an accurate way of reflecting who will vote on November 3. Every vote will count, especially in the key states we’re focused on where polls show a 1% margin of victory for either candidate. With just two weeks until Election Day, we are now in the final stretch of our voter outreach. To ensure we identify Biden supporters and persuade as many voters as possible in Arizona, North Carolina, and Wisconsin before November 3 — we need your help. IJF's voter contact program is based on our groundbreaking research that shows talking to voters with an inclusive and pro-immigrant message is highly effective, and ultimately the message that will shift these critical voters to help us win this November. As an IJF Vote Team volunteer, you will connect one-on-one with voters by sending texts, delivering important messages encouraging them to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. During the pandemic, texting voters can be a fun, effective way to have meaningful conversations with voters from the comfort and safety of your home. We use a software called Spoke to send texts, so the only thing you need to get started is a computer (no cell phone necessary)! We have just two weeks left to give this election everything we've got - will you join in the fight for immigrant justice? Our next text bank is this Thursday, October 22 at 8:30 PM ET during the final presidential debate with a training beforehand. We will be contacting the remainder of our voter contact list in Wisconsin and Arizona. Sign up for our next text bank here. Will you join us Thursday to reach voters in crucial battleground states? |
