On day one of this campaign, I promised to refuse any and all donations from corporate PACs. I knew it could put us at a huge fundraising disadvantage as corporate donors bankroll my opponent.

It might not have been the easy thing to do, but it was the right thing.

A lot of people questioned if we could even make this race competitive. No one thought we could break through the Republican stronghold and be able to flip this district blue.

Then, something extraordinary happened...

First, Phil from Phoenix chipped in $5. Moments later, Kathryn from Cave Creek donated $15. And then, Marvin from Scottsdale even contributed $100. More and more people began chipping in -- and that, my friends, is what a people-powered movement looks like.

Now, we're facing our biggest fundraising challenge yet -- our final monthly deadline before Election Day. Right now, we're $50,000 behind with little time left to catch up. I know our incredible team has the power to come out on top. I've seen it before and I'm counting on it again today.
