Friend --

<[link removed]>

We have some big news!

What would the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination look like if it was done by ranked choice voting? Here are two ways to find out:

- Rank the candidates yourself tonight using this poll ahead <[link removed]> of tonight's debate.
- Take a look at the new nationwide poll <[link removed]> we just commissioned with YouGov

Tonight is the next opportunity to educate our friends and family about ranked choice voting (RCV). If there are at least three GOP candidates running this year for the nomination, we’ll be doing the same for the GOP nomination.

Rank your favorite candidates in order of preference. Plus, share this poll with your friends and family!

Vox just reported on our first of its kind pre-debate YouGov survey <[link removed]>. It’s a chance for us all to learn a little more about how voters are ranking the presidential candidates ahead of tonight’s debate. Here are some top lines from the survey:

- More than two-thirds of participants reported that ranking their choices was easy, and 65% said they favor ranked choice voting, while only 13% opposed.
- In a head-to-head contest, Warren is preferred over Biden by 53% to 47%.
- While Biden leads in single choice support, Warren leads in breadth of support measured by rankings -- she is ranked in the top three by 58.6% of respondents, compared to Biden’s 50%, and ranked in their top five by 69%, compared by Biden’s 59%.
- Warren has the best favorability in the entire field, with 74% rating her favorably as compared to 13% unfavorable.

Lastly, we have a fun and interactive ranking tool  <[link removed]>where you can see where the presidential candidates rank once a candidate is removed.

You also may have seen that Maine reformerswon a big victory <[link removed]>by extending RCV to presidential elections starting next November.

Our elections matter, the time is now for reform.

Sincerely,
