I almost can’t believe it — there are only two weeks left to go until Election Day, and Texans are already casting their ballots in record numbers! This week’s updates are all about early voting:
1. Early voting is open in Texas, and Harris County is breaking turnout records! As of Sunday night, 116,506 voters in TX-07 have already cast ballots early. That’s 27% of registered voters and 45.3% of the number of people who voted in 2016! That’s tangible proof of what’s possible when we work hard to get out the vote and what we can still accomplish in these last two weeks before Election Day.
2. And that includes Lizzie — she cast her ballot early this past weekend! This year’s election is totally different from past elections, and it’s so important to make a plan to vote ASAP like Lizzie and Scott did to ensure your vote is counted.
3. Texans have through the end of the month to vote early. Make sure your friends and family are equipped with everything they need to know to cast their ballots early by sharing our helpful infographics at fletcher.vote/graphic on your social media profiles.
We’re almost there — there isn’t much time left before Election Day, and Lizzie and everyone on #TeamLizzie is so grateful to have dedicated supporters like you on board for this final push to Election Day.
Talk soon,
Molly
