With so much attention on the upcoming elections here in the U.S., many people might not know about the frightening humanitarian situation now developing in Armenia and Azerbaijan. Heavy fighting recently erupted between the two countries over a disputed region, Nagorno-Karabakh, forcing families and children to flee intense shelling and rocket fire.
Medical needs are high as more than 50% of the region’s population and 90% of its women and children have had to escape the violence and leave their homes behind. Can you make an urgent gift to help vulnerable children and families at risk in Armenia, Azerbaijan and other parts of the world?
You’ll ensure that lifesaving supplies and training can reach the people facing violence and displacement there and in other places like Colombia and Yemen — and that those in need get the compassionate health care we all deserve. |
