Hi John,

As a 17 year old, I’m not able to cast a ballot this year. That's why I'm counting on those of you who are 18 and older to make your plan to vote today!

Here’s how to make your voting plan:

1. Check your voter registration status
2. Register to vote if you haven’t already
3. Look up your options to vote in person with our polling locator

It’s easy -- you can take all three steps here. [[link removed]]

While you may feel like your vote won’t count, each and every vote cast in 2020 has the ability to make a difference for LGBTQ+ rights. #RespectYourVote -- get empowered to cast your ballot and make a difference.

Whether you plan to vote early, mail in your ballot, or go to the polls, be sure to plan ahead. Get all the info you need to be super prepared for election day.

If you are too young to vote, sign a pledge at the bottom of this page to commit to voting. You’ll get a reminder to vote on your 18th birthday! [[link removed]]

Here’s one more thing everyone can do. Take a minute to text five friends to ask them if they’ve made their plan to vote. You can tell them to go to glsen.org/vote [[link removed]] to check their status and make a plan to vote.

Thanks for being a critical part of our democracy!
