John,
Trump won Wisconsin by just 22,748 votes in 2016 — the third time in the past five presidential contests that the state was decided by less than a percentage point.
So in 2020, the Working Families Party set a goal of organizing at least 500 activist volunteers to mobilize 40,000 low-propensity progressive voters. We're well on our way, but with the start of in-person early voting across Wisconsin today, there's so much more to do.
This election will come down to every vote in states like Wisconsin, and we can’t afford to leave any on the table. Will you rush a contribution toward our general election GOTV fund today so our organizers are prepared to make sure Wisconsin voters have what they need to cast their ballots?

With just two weeks to go until Election Day, a new wave of COVID-19 cases is rapidly growing across the country — and it's especially bad in Wisconsin, where test positivity rates have been trending above 20%.
So in Milwaukee, Racine, and communities of color in Madison, WFP is actively providing voters with reliable information about voting by mail and early voting through phone calls, text messages, and digital ads. We're also empowering those voters to ensure their family members, friends, and communities show up to do the same — because the last thing we want is for anyone to feel like voting is too complicated or unsafe.
The good news is that our work is paying off. According to the Wisconsin Elections Commission, as of yesterday, nearly 860,000 WI residents have already cast their ballots, about 25 percent of the total turnout during the election four years ago.
But the challenge is making sure that voters know when to return their ballots. Various legal challenges have resulted in a lot of confusion — and as of today, ballots returned after Election Day by mail will not count.
Defeating Trump, electing Joe Biden, and building a government that works for the many — not the few — starts with taking back states like Wisconsin. Rush a contribution to WFP's general election GOTV fund by midnight tonight to help us get out the vote through Election Day.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
