EMPOWERING YOUNG VOTERS WITH INFORMATION
Young voters are new voters meaning they are unfamiliar with the process. That's why Rock the Vote is proud to have served on the steering committee of National Voter Education Week, an effort that brought together more than 400 partners, to provide young Americans with the resources they need to vote in this unusual election. Each day targeted a specific step in the voting process, including registering to vote; requesting an absentee ballot; looking up one's ballot; making a plan; and recruiting friends and family to do the same
LEVERAGING THE POWER OF ATHLETES
Rock the Vote is partnering with the NFL, legends, players, coaches and over a dozen teams to amplify the importance of voting in 2020. From education and registration sessions to public campaigns, teams, such as the Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings, and Philadelphia Eagles, and players such as Tyrann Mathieu are driving fans to take action to prepare themselves to vote.
TEAMING UP WITH NIKE
We are teaming up with Nike brands, including Jordan and Converse to spread the message that the time is now. Mobilizing athletes of every sport and activating across all platforms to drive the Nike community - employees and customers - to get information and take action at its custom election center (powered by Rock the Vote). No more sitting on the sidelines.
