With just 14 days to go until Election Day, I wouldn’t be writing to you today about Candace Valenzuela if it weren’t critically important. President Obama and I faced a Republican-controlled House for six years, so I know how crucial it is that we protect and expand our Majority this year. And believe me -- Candace Valenzuela’s campaign here in TX-24 is one of our best shots to do just that. But I’ll be honest, folks -- we’re coming down to the wire here. In a district as competitive as TX-24, what each of us do in these last two weeks will determine the outcome of the election -- we can’t afford to falter now. This is the most important election of any of our lifetimes, and I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to help power candidates like Candace Valenzuela across the finish line in November.
