RACIAL DISPARITIES IN
BREAST RECONSTRUCTION

In honor of Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day tomorrow, please join
Breastcancer.org for a webinar to inform and empower women who will
undergo a mastectomy.

Not everyone receives the same information or care, which has led to
inequalities in many areas of healthcare, including breast
reconstruction. If you believe, like we do, that all women should have
the tools they need to advocate for themselves and to receive equal
treatment, no matter the color of their skin, then this event is for
you.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21
4 PM ET

REGISTER

Topics include:

* Understanding the factors that have created racial disparities in
breast reconstruction

* The importance of diversity in surgical before-and-after photos

* Finding a plastic surgeon that's the best fit for you

* Choosing which type of reconstruction to have

* Keloid scarring after surgery

* Patient education and finding a supportive community

Please extend this invitation to your family, friends, or colleagues by
forwarding this email. We hope to see you tomorrow!
