An Examination of Qatar
What are Its Values, Goals and Desires?
And Why Are They So Generous with Us,
Here in the United States

Wednesday, October 21st | 12:00 pm EDT
Featuring Sam Westrop
Director of the Islamist Project of the Middle East Forum

Qatar, a gas and petroleum rich nation on a peninsula in the Persian Gulf has recently put in a request to purchase American made F-35 missiles. For the last several years, this nation that supports the Muslim Brotherhood has also been showering billions of dollars of its vast wealth on our universities, our kindergarten through 12th grade education system, and recently even on NASA and the Smithsonian. Their largess to American institutions has even surpassed that of Saudi Arabia.

What are Qatar’s overall objectives here? What American Islamist institutions have they also supported? What is its objective in their America influence operations? Why are they bestowing so much of its wealth, here in the United States? And why are the recipients of this wealth so eager to turn a blind eye on Qatar’s support for HAMAS, Al Qaeda, Jabat al Nusra and ISIS, as well as its troubling relationship with Iran, while receiving their largess?
