Hey John,

At Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE) Educational Fund, we strive to advocate for more effective gun violence prevention legislation, provide education about all facets of gun violence and gun violence prevention, help Wisconsinites engage in civic activities, and uplift our community. We have a pretty small staff, though, so we rely on our volunteers and supporters to help us achieve these big goals.  

One significant way that volunteers help WAVE achieve our mission is by volunteering as WAVE Action Leaders (formerly called RVP Leaders). Our Action Leaders contact friends, family, neighbors, or coworkers to help them engage when we share a new call-to-action. Scientific research shows that this friend-to-friend contact is effective!

We are incredibly grateful to all of our WAVE Action Leaders. If you are a Leader, thank you so much for all that you do. Currently, we are especially grateful for all of our Leaders' work to help us get 10,000 people to the polls!
