--BREAKING--
The hearing to save little Tafida Raqeeb’s life at the UK High Court just reached a decisive moment..
In a few hours, the judges will decide whether Tafida’s parents will be allowed to leave the UK and bring their daughter to Genoa, Italy, where a medical team will take care of her.
Or, they can decide that Tafida’s life support will be switched off.
CitizenGOers from all over the world are praying, taking action and helping Tafida, her parents and CitizenGO with financial support.
I hope you will also take part in this very urgent and crucial initiative to save Tafida.
Tafida’s parents face enormous legal and medical bills, even before the hoped-for ruling to go to Italy for new treatment.
And should the hospital and Culture of Death activists get the ruling they want, an emergency appeal must be filed to stop Tafida from being put to death by so-called "doctors."
Please read my email below detailing the whole, sad story, and please chip in as much as you’re willing in this crucial fight to save a child’s life before it’s too late:
Dear John,
Six months ago, five-year-old Tafida suddenly fell into unconsciousness following a brain bleed that led to respiratory and cardiac arrest caused by an undiagnosed anomaly that is entirely treatable.
Doctors told Tafida's parents not to be hopeful, but she miraculously survived the severe brain surgery. But following the surgery, the medical team in charge of saving Tafida’s life is determined to let her die and, against Tafida’s parents’ wishes, is seeking to turn off Tafida’s life support, claiming it is the right choice!
But not everyone shares the Culture of Death's views.
You and I do not. Millions more do not.
And a heroic medical team in Genoa, Italy has stepped forward to treat Tafida ... if only the UK court will let them.
Now, the UK High Court is celebrating the hearings that will decide if Shelina Begum and Mohammed Raqeeb can take their daughter Tafida out of the country to Genoa, Italy, or follow Royal London Hospital’s demand to end her life.
Tafida and her parents desperately need our help NOW!
Shelina and Mohammed must be allowed to do whatever it takes to save their daughter’s life:The hospital and the mainstream media are saying that Tafida is “terminally ill,” but that’s simply not true. This was a single freak accident where a child had a critical brain bleed following a rupture of some tangled vessels and is not a recurring issue.
One brain specialist consulted by the family even said that all Tafida needs is time to heal, as it could take up to a year for some of the connections in the brain to re-establish. And with the proper treatment, it is hoped that Tafida can be moved into a chair, where she can be taken out and about and given rehabilitative therapy.
That’s why CitizenGO must help Tafida’s parents pay for the legal expenses and medical care… and we must also raise awareness and put pressure on the High Court judges with our hard-hitting global campaign so that Tafida will be able to leave the UK and keep hope alive. And finally, for the many other “Tafidas” that the Culture of Death wants to discard (born and unborn), we must continue our campaign for Life around the world.
Please, send your contribution to help Tafida’s parents and CitizenGO in this important fight at this critical moment:
The five-day hearing is reaching its decisive moment at the High Court in London, and this week they will decide whether to release Tafida for treatment or put an end to her life.
We must do everything in our power to save Tafida, but time is running out. And we need your help, John.
With your donation of $4 or more, you will allow us to:
- Directly help Tafida’s parents afford legal and life-saving medical expenses. Their legal costs are running into tens of thousands of British Pounds. Should they succeed in their High Court appeal, they will also need to find an additional £20,000 to pay for Tafida to be airlifted to Italy, and about £200,000 to cover the costs of ongoing life-sustaining treatment.
- Massively spread our online campaign, maximising the claims for justice and hope to be sent to the Royal London Hospital, to the UK Health Secretary of State and to the High Court of London during this decisive hearing. It would include Facebook and other social media ads and online actions.
- Organize offline events like vigils, signature deliveries and stunts, trying to get the attention of the media and increase the pressure, impact and effectiveness of our campaign.
- Run newspaper ads in the United Kingdom to increase awareness and get the attention of British citizens toward the case, increasing the possibility of winning the appeal and saving Tafida.
Sadly, Tafida is not the first sick child who has been condemned by the culture of death oriented leftist elites. Charlie Gard and Alfie Evans suffered the same death sentence.
Charlie, Alfie, Tafida. And the many other unknown “Tafidas” that the Culture of Death wants to discard. They all deserve our support, yours and mine, to actively stand in the global cultural battle in favor of life, human dignity and parental rights.
So if you can, please help now! We don’t have much time before the UK High Court decides Tafida’s fate:
This is urgent, John. We must raise the funds needed to launch our campaign this week before the outcome of these hearings to help Tafida’s parents afford the enormous, yet necessary, legal expenses and to boost our global mobilization campaign to help save her life.
I pray I can count on your help because, as always, we cannot do anything without you.
It’s because of the support of people like you that our movement can take on the leftist elites, especially when we unite and act together… I hope you will join me in the fight to save Tafida!
In hope and determination,
Ignacio Arsuaga and the entire CitizenGO team
P.S. As I explained earlier, the hearings about Tafida have begun at the UK High Court, and a decision on her fate will be made soon. So if you are planning on sending your donation to help Tafida, please do so right now, before it’s too late (if you can).
Also, please consider forwarding this email to friends and family who may not know about Tafida’s case. Thanks to you, they may decide to join us in this crucial fight to save a child’s life.
