This morning, the President of the United States went on Fox News to threaten Adam, saying that he should be put in jail … or worse.

“He’s a sick man. He is so sick. We went through two and a half years of that, plus. This guy, he ought to be put away, or he ought to be, you know, something should happen with him.”

We know that Trump’s words and incitements have real-world effects. They’ve caused death threats, inspired kidnapping plots, and sparked violence. When the president says these things, people are listening.
