Hey John,
Today is a big day. It’s the last day we’ll ask you to donate to the 12 candidates who need it most before Election Day. After today, we’re leaning full-tilt into voter turnout efforts.
That’s not just a line: after today, candidates won’t have time to reallocate new dollars effectively before Election Day—13 days just isn’t enough time to hire staff or build new voter contact programs. You’ll still be able to give through Election Day, but those dollars can only tie up loose ends. Today’s the last chance we have to move the needle with our donations.
Will you give one last time to the 12 candidates who need your dollars most? Every dollar goes to MJ Hegar (TX-SEN), Jon Ossoff (GA-SEN), Emily Nicholson (NC-HD-1), Dan Besse (NC-HD-74), Donna Lake (NC-SD-11), Terri LeGrand (NC-SD-31), Pam Iovino (PA-SD-37), Paul Friel (PA-HD-26), Kevin Branco (PA-HD-131), Lorenzo Sanchez (TX-HD-67), Celina Montoya (TX-HD-121), and Brandy Chambers (TX-HD-112).

Texas and Georgia are historically Republican states. To flip Senate seats there, candidates need every bit of support they can muster. And since the states are so huge, it costs more to contact all the voters we need—that’s why we’re sending some of these final dollars to Jon Ossoff and MJ Hegar.
The state legislative races are just as close and these last minute dollars will go even further. Name recognition is an uphill battle for many state legislative candidates, especially with COVID upending in-person events, meaning every voter outreach campaign we can support is critically important. Even a single mention of the candidates’ name could make a huge difference so close to Election Day as voters fill in their ballots.
John, if we don’t raise these last-minute dollars, our candidates will likely go into Election Day at a disadvantage that could cost them the win. And if we lose any of these seats, even by close margins, it could cost us Democratic majorities in state legislatures and the Senate. What we do right now could be make or break.
Give one more time to the Immediate Impact Fund—every dollar goes to the 12 candidates in the closest Senate and state legislative races.
