Today, on Kamala Harris’s birthday, we at Progressive Majority would like to thank her for all she’s done for the American people -- and all she’ll do as Vice President.
Kamala stands up for the rights of all Americans. She’s committed to protecting our right to choose. She and Joe Biden will face climate change head on, and will make sure the Affordable Care Act continues to protect Americans. And just last week, she made us proud by exposing “Barrett’s disingenuous assertion of neutrality” during her SCOTUS confirmation hearing, as noted by a Washington Post Op-Ed.
But now that Biden and Harris are leading in the national polls, Trump, Pence, and the GOP have put all their efforts into deriding Kamala to make her lose credibility. Just one example: Pence has been trying to claim that she’s done “nothing on criminal justice reform,” despite her advocacy for racial bias training and use of police body cameras. We need to let the GOP know that their attempts at sowing seeds of doubt about Kamala aren’t going to work -- that’s why we’re reaching out to you now. Make your voice heard:
