This month, we?re sharing opportunities to help stage our comeback and
asking for your support.

While we aren?t able to offer our Youth Performances and other in-person
programs for young people, we?re keeping our commitment to serve Austin
children and families in creative and collaborative ways.

One of those ways is the Performance Robots course from the TPA Scenic
Studio. In this online course, UT students and Austin elementary students
are working together to design and build programmable robots that can be
remotely controlled via the internet. On top of an already busy
virtual-class-filled schedule, Eva Rosenthal, 2nd grade teacher at
Metz-S?nchez Elementary School, enthusiastically agreed to be the robot
club sponsor, and developed a STEAM-centered lesson plan for the club. The
elementary students are creating initial drawings and stories, and the UT
Austin students are bringing these robot designs to life in consultation
and collaboration with their young design partners.

Would you help resource this collaboration and others like it? Your gift
of $150 or more will support TPA?s programs that keep learning innovative
and fun in this unusual time. Donors at this level in October will receive
free access to our virtual programming through December 31. We are grateful
for your donation in any amount.
